LaDonyae Thomas is an Author, Financial Educator, and Legacy Architect dedicated to helping individuals and families break cycles and build intentional legacies. As the CEO of Affinity Legacy Solutions, she builds a culture of financial stewardship, business development, and wealth education through a purpose driven approach that blends strategy, faith, and personal growth centered around her proprietary Legacy Compass365™ framework.
Her passion for legacy was born from her family history. Coming from a line of male entrepreneurs who worked hard but lacked the financial education to sustain wealth or businesses across generations, she witnessed firsthand how their legacies ended with them. However, it was after the birth of her first granddaughter that the assignment became crystal clear. She was no longer just thinking about legacy; she had been entrusted with a legacy to lead and leave herself. This pivotal moment ignited her determination to rewrite the narrative and become a catalyst for lasting change. Although she endured many challenges along the way, she used every challenge as fuel to redefine legacy for future generations.
LaDonyae's journey in education began early in early childhood development, serving as a parent educator and later as director of a child development center. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Science with a concentration in Human Development and Family Studies, deepening her understanding of how families grow and evolve to shape generational outcomes. She later completed her Master of Business Administration with a focus in Leadership, expanding her capacity to advance the mission of Affinity Legacy Solutions with strategic vision and business acumen.
Her corporate path started with a top Fortune 500 healthcare company as a community outreach and marketing representative. During this time, she earned her Life, Health, and Accident insurance license, an achievement that sparked her passion for financial education and introduced her to the power of protection, planning, and generational wealth.
With over twenty years of entrepreneurial experience launching multiple ventures, LaDonyae continues to shape the mission of Affinity Legacy Solutions by empowering others to build legacies that last.
Ministry remains a core part of her purpose, as she believes legacy is spiritual, financial, and personal. To her, legacy is not just what you leave behind; it's what you instill within others. When individuals are strengthened from within, they are empowered to steward resources wisely and create impact that outlives them.
